Currently when you train up a skill to say level 5, that skill will no longer count in your "skills trained to level 4" rank.
They should count up the same as the certifcates rankings.
It makes sense that if a player has a skill trained to lvl 5, then they should also have that skill counted in the lower levels and not be penalised.
This is the way the skill system works. You would not be happy if you trained battleship lvl 2 to fly a tier 2 ship, only to find your no longer allowed to fly a tier 1 ship.
Yes that would be good, and this would also allow to count for the global ranking L1 and L2 skills. |

Postman, I think that you only need to make a new api key, and then log in with it. It will replace the old one automatically.
Chribba, looking my character, I see that in standings / faction standings, the sisters are not there. I think that they should be added, and used for the average standing. This might be the reason why there are so few players with a positive average faction standing. |

The eveboard global is interresting, but feels strange with CCP characters.
Perhaps removing characters older than the game launching date after importing the data would give more "normal" statistics.
There might still be some strange characters, but at least a good quantity would be removed. |

Hello,
I think it would be nice to be able to compare the character with others of similar date. For example to put a filter that compares everything but instead of with all players, only those that have + - 1 year for example.
Now except for 1 player (2005), all top 10 players are very old (2003). That is normal. But it would be nice to know how more recent players are ranked with others of similar beginning.
If not, if we could see next to the column of the ranks, also the year so we can easily see similar players.
In the same way, there could also be a rank with top 10 year 2003, top 10 year 2004, top 10 year 2005...
That is only a suggestion. If it is too much work, or seems a bad idea, forget it ;)

Hello,
about having a different sorting, what about having the possibility to see our ranking compared with players of +/- 1 year of creation? It is interesting to see how we are compared to all the other players, but it would be more meaningful if we could compare ourselves with players of the same time period.
So, I propose to put another tab that aside of ranks you could have ranks of similar players in this new screen. This would be interesting to old players and new players alike. |

It seems that this discussion can be closed as next months with skill points trading all this discussion will loose all meaning.
Why bother about a ranking where you can go where you want with money.
It seems that I will need to look for another game. |

With 1 year subscription, you will probably be able to buy many Skill points.
My character is from middle 2007, and I am over 200M points. Now it means that the character was well planned. For me it means that instead of gaining less points to have that skills I want, I had to wait to remaps (so sometimes years) to learn some skills. I was looking to be good in the long run.
Next month, people will be able to make a character from 0 to 50M very fast, and then still be able to go at a good speed with money.
Someone who makes a good living with more than 100000$ per year, and that is willing to pay for example 100$ per month, will be able to buy for example 2 plexes and many skill points every month, leaving behind most of the other players.
IT removes all the motivation to keep the account as I play a lot less than before. There is no satisfaction in amassing items or isk with the plexes. And now it is the same with skill points |
